139-6123-7375The temperature resistance range of fiberglass safety helmets mainly depends on their material properties and manufacturing processes. Generally speaking, fiberglass safety helmets can be used normally in temperature environments ranging from -20 ℃ to 80 ℃. At low temperatures (around -20 ℃), the resin in fiberglass material becomes relatively brittle and hard, but due to the presence of fiberglass, the overall structure can still maintain a certain strength and toughness. However, after use in low-temperature environments, it is advisable to avoid severe impacts on the safety helmet to prevent potential damage caused by resin embrittlement.
When in a high temperature environment (around 80 ℃), fiberglass safety helmets can also maintain good performance. Glass fiber has good high temperature resistance and can maintain its strength at high temperatures. At around 80 ℃, although the resin may soften to a certain extent, it will not undergo significant deformation or decomposition. However, prolonged exposure to high temperatures may cause the resin to gradually age, affecting the lifespan of the safety helmet. Therefore, after use in high temperature environments, the safety helmet should be placed in a cool and ventilated place to avoid damage caused by continuous high temperatures.
It should be noted that beyond this temperature range, the performance of fiberglass safety helmets may be significantly affected. At extreme high temperatures, the resin may melt, causing the cap shell to deform and lose its protective ability; At extreme low temperatures, safety helmets may become fragile and unable to effectively withstand impacts. Therefore, when using, it is necessary to ensure that the working environment temperature is within its temperature resistance range to ensure the safety and reliability of the safety helmet.
