139-6123-7375Compared with plastic helmets, fiberglass helmets have multiple advantages. Firstly, in terms of strength, fiberglass safety helmets have significantly higher strength. Fiberglass is a composite of glass fiber and resin, and the high strength of glass fiber enables fiberglass safety helmets to withstand greater impact and puncture forces. However, ordinary plastic safety helmets are mainly made of a single plastic material, which has relatively low strength. When subjected to large impacts, they are prone to breakage or deformation, and cannot effectively protect the head.
Secondly, in terms of high temperature resistance, fiberglass safety helmets have more advantages. Plastic safety helmets are prone to softening and deformation in high temperature environments, and may even release harmful gases, affecting the health of users and the protective performance of safety helmets. The glass fiber in the fiberglass safety helmet has good high temperature resistance and can maintain structural stability in high temperature environments (generally up to around 80 ℃) without significant deformation, thus ensuring safety protection in high-temperature working environments.
Furthermore, in terms of service life, fiberglass safety helmets are also longer. Plastic safety helmets, due to their material properties, are susceptible to aging and brittleness caused by factors such as ultraviolet radiation and chemicals, resulting in a relatively short service life. However, the material aging rate of fiberglass safety helmets is slower. As long as they are used and maintained under normal conditions, they can last for 2.5-3 years and are more durable than plastic safety helmets.
In addition, in terms of breathability, although some plastic safety helmets also have breathable designs, due to the inherent breathability of fiberglass material and the more reasonable layout of ventilation holes in the cap structure design, the breathability effect of fiberglass breathable safety helmets is often better, providing users with a more comfortable wearing experience and reducing discomfort caused by stuffiness and heat on the head.
